Meanwhile I have been informed by my colleagues, that although I spend a good part of my waking life on the computer, where I indulge in all kinds of what I consider geeky activities & treats, I’m apparently still sadly under-qualified and therefore not worthy of the title “geek.” Ergo, I should not use the G-word; ergo it had to go, too. The tongue-in-cheek tone is not considered entirely appropriate either.
For simplicity’s sake, let me just go all the way and vow that from now on I will vigorously suppress any misguided and pathetic attempt at humor or lightheartedness (while taking the exercises seriously). Let me be bone dry and positive & play it safe. (Icons courtesy of echosphere)
